How it is made

The paste is kneaded from wood powder, natural resin and fragrance oils, shaped into sticks by hand and dried slowly in the shade so it burns evenly. Without a bamboo core, the stick has to be firm enough to stand on its own, which takes patient drying.

Why people prefer it

• More fragrance per stick, because the whole stick is fragrant.
• No bamboo stub left behind in the holder.
• No smell of burning bamboo at the end.
• Charcoal-free versions, like ours, burn with noticeably less smoke than charcoal sticks.
